verses and ideas by Juu.

multiverses.

broad verse

General ideas for universes and settings, to be created together. this section gives you an idea of where to start. There aren't many details or specific ideas as this is meant for us to discuss and come up with something together:

original verse.
We can make up our own universe and story and have our characters live in it. We can also play having them being isekai-ed to that new universe and being brand new aliens there.

Canon verse.
We can have our characters living or arriving in an already existing world and franchise (for example, My Hero Academia universe). They may have lived there since the start or perhaps they were isekai-ed there for some reason.

MONSTER VERSE
Characters are either typical Folklore monsters, were turned into one, or simply live in a world with them. This usually involves one character being a monster of some sort. Aliens are cool too!

ROMANCE AND SHIPPING
I love romance and I love shipping! As mentioned in the guidelines, smut has its own rules, but I don't mind playing any kind of pairing. It's something that I love doing no matter what.

FANTASY
Usual fantasy settings, be it light fantasy or dark fantasy. I'm okay with something more urban and recent, to something more medieval and old. Magic, spells, bards, exploration!

SCI-FI
A broad science-fiction genre, either something set on a planet or even in a spaceship. Could be advanced technology or just downright space exploration, aliens are always wecome. Something advanced but also not of our world!

HORROR AND THRILLER
I love putting characters through awful things. I'm very much into them suffering and growing as part of it, or learning to rely on others as part of the horrors they see. I am a huge horror buff!!

FOUND FAMILY AND MENTORS
Especially with characters who have had a hard life, I adore found family trope, or just someone to mentor them. For this, I'd rather not do shipping, but something platonic.

original verses

Specific universes, ideas, settings and storylines i have created on my own, which we can use freely to shape our writing. Click on the verse's title for more details and information on each specific verse.

* isekai-friendly: characters are not from this original universe and somehow arrived there
* au-friendly: characters already live in this universe from the start

Horridum.
Monsterverse! a world with monsters hiding among humans, while humans try to hunt and kill the monsters. old gods have awakened and are kind of making a mess of things. AU-friendly and isekai-friendly.

Clone Life.
Canon characters were cloned and their clones were placed inside a compound to live there, with the intent to make them and their abilities better. AU-friendly

colossus.
Superhero verse, where heroes and villains exist, with many strange powers that end up bringing people from other worlds to this one. AU-friendly and isekai-friendly.

Ferality.
Beastmet -anthros- live in a world along with humans. Due to prejudice, they move to Anima City, but accidentally super powered anthros start bringing people from others worlds there. isekai-friendly

basics

Laika lives in a spaceship ("the Boat") and she wants to go home. using her reality-bending powers ("wishes"), Laika brings people to her ship so they can keep her company and help her get home.Entities known as they, who gave Laika these powers (as well as self-awareness), ask -no, demand- for those who arrive to protect laika. Those who arrive at the spaceship will keep Laika company, help around the ship, and eventually help laika in her adventures as she travels through space, hoping to go back to her home.but Laika is just a dog who was given a very powerful gift. a lot of the things that happen, either at the spaceship or at the planets "the boat" visits are altered by laika's powers and her desire to just go home.

type

this verse is meant to be soft, sweet, cute and funny. it's meant to be gentle albeit a bit chaotic because laika is just a dog. due to the theme, there is also nostalgia, melancholy, bittersweetness, wistfulness and sadness. While this verse will be sci-fi, there will be all genres in it, because laika dreams big. most things will be inspired on earth, however, because laika is from earth and that's her home.

information

In 1957, the USSR launched the cosmonaut dog, Laika, into Earth's orbit. She never returned. Laika was lost in the vast space, but she had only one thought and one hope: to return home. She waited and waited and waited, and after waiting for so long, someone finally answered. It wasn't home. But they decided to help Laika. And they gave her the power to bend reality. But little Laika is just a dog who wants to go home.she doesn't want to do it alone, though, because she has been alone for so long. therefore, Laika starts to desire and with the powers they gave her, she starts to bring to her side people.everyone who arrives is told by them:
Protect Laika.
That's all you have to do.

extra information

  • laika has been in space for many years

  • laika is around and people can talk to her, pet her, play with her.

  • laika does not understand she is different than what she used to be. she still sees herself as a normal dog.

  • she does not know she has powers

  • trying to explain it to her will be difficult. laika will not understand.

  • getting mad at laika will cause reality to glitch and you will be put in timeout. laika is a good dog, do not be mean to her.

  • do not try to hurt laika. your role is to protect her. If you do that, they will send you to relive your worst nightmare for what feels like an eternity.

  • anyone can talk to them through intercoms around the ship, but no one can actually meet them.

  • they will speak to the characters, only to remind them they are meant to protect laika. they are clearly alien and powerful and they seem to be deeply attached to laika.

  • they will not bring laika back home and might imply there is no home for her to return to.

  • there are other npcs around the spaceship! they are animals or strange people like small fairies, all created by laika herself. they can not be hurt or killed and they will be friendly.

  • the spaceship was created by them and it's fully equipped, even with things laika herself would not use, like kitchen, workingout room, etc.

meta information to be found out while playing the verse

Characters are copied from their worlds. laika dreams of the character's worlds, and she copies those she dreamt about. no one is stolen or kidnapped, and their original is still back in their world, doing whatever they are meant to do.besides their usual powers, characters will have powers given by laika. they don't know this right away, and laika doesn't know either because in her doggy head, that would be normal and the usual for the people she dreamt about. Players choose their character's special power.laika's earth no longer exists. it was destroyed billions of years ago, while laika floated around in space. she is not aware of this and they will not disclose this information. the many worlds laika and the characters visit are alternate realities, other fandoms, other universes, and this means it can be anything you want to come up with, including canon worlds.they are powerful souls of those who used to live on earth, hence why they are so attached to laika. they have lost all remnants of earth and finding laika brought their humanity back. they are protective of her and love her deeply. they won't disclose this information, but talking to them will feel like talking to a human.

basics

A fantasy world with various fantasy races (orcs, elves, goblins, slimes, etc) has strayed away from magic and focused on developing technology instead. This led to amazing development and all races live together.but the magic they forgot is what kept chaos - malevolent forces that corrupt nature - under control, and without magic chaos started to grow again.the world begged its children to turn back to magic but it was too late because it could no longer be heard. so it turned to other worlds and literally asked if it could temporarily take people from them and bring it in.by doing so, these new arrivals are provided with magic that can fight the corrupted nature and chaos, and perhaps finally teach the others magic so they can defend themselves.

type

urban dark fantasy verse, deeply inspired by "Onward", but with a more darker side to it. This is meant to be more action-driven, about fighting mutated creatures and living in the city.

information

before, there was magic. but magic was hard and unpredictable, thus technology easily replaced it. and then, one day, magic was forgotten.but the world didn't forget, and neither did the forces around it. chaos slowly begun to emerge and corrupt the world. despite the world trying to tell its children about the danger to come, its children could no longer hear the voice of the world.in a last desperate attempt to save itself, the world reached out to other worlds: let me borrow your children, it asked, and the worlds allowed it.And thus the world took them across time and space and brought them in, with full abilities and full magical powers, while begging:Save us.

extra information

  • new arrivals will have their canon powers, but also the ability to use magic.

  • magic system inspired by the 4 states of matter and powers fall into those categories. It can be broad.

  • new arrivals can hear the voice of the world, but no one else can.

  • the voice of the world will tell new arrivals when something is wrong and asks them to help.

  • new arrivals may refuse but if they don't fix the world, they will not go back to their homes.

  • new arrivals may be seen as crazy people by NPCs, but most of the time they are pretty neutral.

  • npcs have task forces meant to destroy corrupted things. these taskforces kill whatever is corrupted.

  • chaos corrupts every living thing around it. it mutates, transforms and alters living things. it turns them aggressive and destructive.

  • chaos spreads like a zombie virus - it spreads through bite.

  • two magic users can heal corruption. By using both their magic together, they create an element called lyra, which will heal whatever it touches.

  • technology is steampunk and solarpunk and more advanced than our own.

Characters are kidnapped by the world with consent from their own worlds. this means while they may not like it, the character's world gave permission for this interdimensional kidnapping. they will be returned at the end.because they are not the world's children, they do not have a normal life and death cycle, and this means the world can add "rebirth" to the cycle, effectively bringing characters back if they die.characters will learn that by pairing together they can form lyra. there is more to it, though: characters paired together will hear each other's thoughts, feel each other's emotions and able to see the world through each other's eyes and body. they will be as one.characters will have to find jobs to live in the world. They have to contribute if they want to live in the city and have all the niceties solar and steampunk tech provides, and fighting chaos is not seen as a real thing unless they join the taskforces.it's fine to transform characters into a fantasy species when they arrive, although that's not the main thing of this verse.

basics

Normal human world except monsters live among humans, hiding in plain sight and predating on them when no one is looking.folklore monsters such as werewolves, fairies, unicorns, demons, vampires, and many more are but a very small percentage, but they are now starting to be discovered by humans and it's becoming harder to hide.humans are terrified of them because they are often the monsters' victims, but the monsters only want to live and survive too. many even form connections with humans and pretend to be one.many humans form groups to go hunt for these creatures, priests start to perform better exorcisms, and the forgotten rituals and beliefs have become more alive than ever.to make matters worse, old forgotten gods have awakened too, and they demand the sacrifice long ago humans were willing to give. they alter the earth, they alter the land, the skies, the sea... and they alter people.and they take them from other worlds to make their own special followers.

type

horror and/or extremely dark fantasy verse. while there are people arriving from other worlds (canon/fandom characters), this verse allows for easy integration of any character as well.

information

they were always among us. werewolves, vampires, selkies... monsters. they always hid among us, lurking in the shadows and pretending they were nothing but stories. But now we know they are there. with the age of the internet, it's hard to remain hidden for long, although some people may say it's all a hoax and some new crazy thing for humans to focus on, so they still go about their normal lives and ignore this. But there are many who know, there are many who have seen it. and there are many who realized it's kill or be killed. you have to hide, you have to kill, you have to make sure you will survive because these creatures will not even blink when it comes to killing you.the world is so frightening now.
they are here.

extra information

  • human vs monsters

  • new arrivals from other worlds, or characters are already living here

  • new arrivals can arrive as their normal selves - if they have any powers, are from a different species, or are overall different from normal humans, they are considered "monsters" regardless. if they are normal humans, then they are considered "humans".

  • new arrivals can also be transformed into monsters if the player wants that. they can keep their normal canon abilities and look, but will able to transform into a monster.

  • humans have teams that go monster hunting - they are not government-sanctioned. they are just people who do it because they are scared, for revenge, or because they are YouTubers who want more views.

  • normal human world with normal human technology

  • all sorts of monsters exist, including gods

  • monsters can all be killed somehow, including gods. these may be eldritch gods, too.

  • events happen because of these gods or because of monsters already existing in the verse.

  • not all humans hate monsters and not all monsters hate humans. it's possible to relate.

  • hiding is the way monsters living among humans. monsters all have a human-like form that allows them to appear normal.

  • many humans still do not believe monsters exist and think this is all internet hysteria. there are news about cases of missing people or "animal attacks" but no authority or government has accepted the existence of monsters just yet.

meta information to be found out while playing the verse

Characters are kidnapped by the old gods. they will not answer about it, they only see the characters as canon fodder for their worshipping and sacrifice. they, indeed, hope that characters or npcs will die - regardless of who dies, it's considered a sacrifice and that's what they want.characters already living in this verse will have more knowledge on the monsters and the gods. they are often the ones who can figure out how to stop something from happening.eventually the world will accept that monsters live there. monsters can try to help humans to show that not all are bad.slowly the world will transform into having monsters and humans living alongside. a lot of tension, of course, but the evolution is for the two to have to accept one another and find a middleground.

basics

This world has had superpowered people for many centuries. they live alongside non-powered people and often take the role of heroes.there are many places and facilities for superpowered people to hone their skills: special hero schools, military, hero groups, sponsorships, private academies, and such.Around each country, fighting alongside the police and military there are hero groups - government-sanctioned heroes who can fight threats. military works to build a new police task force with heroes. academies and schools teach superpowered people to use their powers without a specific heroic intent. sponsorships are often just for shows and commercials, but they will provide full training.villains also exist. these are often super-powered people who go against the law, but there are also those who simply don't want to be involved with the government - the vigilante groups.due to the many superpowers, it's not strange for people from other worlds to arrive. it's very hard to send them back because this sort of powers are not easy to control and it's hard to find a way back to their original worlds.

type

superhero with action. Because this will involve villains vs heroes, there will be a lot to explore regarding morality, right and wrong, justice and injustice.
Due to the themes, it may also involve politics, medical experimentation, espionage, and factions.

information

Long ago, the world watched superpowered people emerge. at first, only a handful enough that they were just legends, heroes of lore... but soon, they started to appear all over the world.the age of heroes begun centuries ago, and it reigns to this day.not everyone is born with these special powers, but those who are, can join special schools, can join the military, or can join different hero groups - all with the intent to keep the world safe from any kind of threat.but this also means the age of villains is here too.
those who do not wish to be part of the great order find meaning in fighting it and those who call themselves heroes.
With great power comes great responsibility. Probably.

extra information

  • characters can either live in this world as their original universe, or arrive from their own canons.

  • characters keep their powers.

  • it's possible to suppress powers thanks to this world's technology.

  • all superpowered people - including arrivals - will have a tattoo with a number. these numbers represent the type of power the super-powered person has. it can be hidden with makeup.

  • technology is very similar to ours, but there is incredibly advanced tech that seems out of this world. there is currently a city on the moon and a scientific base on Mars.

  • characters will be living/arriving to a version of Europe which has now become a country rather than many different countries - it's called europa because we are original. its capital is lux which is the size of Luxembourg (so original, yep).

  • while the world is at peace, characters still can't just travel wherever they want. super-powered people will need special passports to travel somewhere outside europa, which are difficult to get.

  • there are warp pads that allow quick transportation between a few cities. to visit anywhere else, the character will have to use the good old car/train.

  • most people look at superpowered people as heroes, but there is some anger towards villains and even towards vigilante groups.

  • many non-powered people are trying to find ways to gain powers on their own, through medical experimentation or by buying expensive tech.

  • local heroes will try to recruit super-powered people.

meta information to be found out while playing the verse

as you have guessed, there is some political drama, although it's mostly from the superpowered people's perspective. there are groups who think they should take over the world, groups who think they should be the ones making decisions, and groups who think non-powered people are beneath them.government does not allow superpowered people to be directly involved in politics because there was an event where a superhero went rogue and tried to start a dictatorship, years ago. because of this, many superpowered people agree this is for the best and will stop anyone with powers from getting involved with the government directly.a lot of villains aren't about doing bad things, but instead simply about wanting to do the opposite of what heroes do. Some say this keeps balance and keeps everyone in check.

basics

Anthro creatures by the name of "Beastmen" are living in the same world as humans, but neither species gets along. Still, Beastmen are allowed to live in Anima city, where only other Beastmen reside. Outside of this city, Beastmen are hunted and suffer much prejudice from humans.Eventually, a special kind of Beastmen - the Transcendent - emerged as well. These are old, immortal Beasts, the ones that formed myths and stories. Their powers are vast, but sometimes out of control. One of the Transcendents opened a portal which it can not control, allowing multiple worlds and universes to connect to this world. Those who arrive, regardless of species, will be turned into Beastmen, with the special ability of taking the form of many species and taking their special abilities too. But they have also kept their original powers, making them as powerful as the Transcendent, if not more.Anima City welcomes them, although many distrust these new arrivals for many of them used to be humans before. The human world rejects them immediately and sends Anima City the ultimatum: find a way to send them back. Immediately.

type

The main idea of this verse is to have characters adapting to a new world and new forms, and learning how to make do with them. it tackles discrimination like BNA however the focus is the relationship between the new arrivals and this new world - do they want to help, do they want to make it better, do they want to understand it?

information

Anthropomorphic animals called Beastmen finally came out of the shadows to light and now live in a special exclusion zone known as Anima City, due to prejudice between humans and beastmen.Beastmen, while their true form is that of an anthropomorphized variant of any animal species, have the ability to change into a human form, allowing them to dwell among humans easily, but most have chosen to live in Anima city, hoping to find community and peace.but things start changing. As Transcendent Beastmen - godlike beastmen - came to light as well, strange powers became more common and, one day, one of the Transcendents opened a portal, which allowed people from other universes to arrive...Wouldn't it be nice if this world became filled with smiles?.

extra information

  • Beastmen are anthros. They have abilities based on their animal counterpart - hearing, smell, taste, etc.

  • Beastmen have a secondary human form which allows them to hide as humans.

  • Transcendent Beastmen are considered gods, Beastmen who have undergone a nasty ritual of being exposed to the blood of their brethren.

  • anima city worships the Transcendent.

  • ANima city is an exclusion zone where Beastmen live. Humans can only enter under very special circumstances.

  • Outside anima city, Beastmen are hunted and killed, and some may even be captured to sell in black markets. Rumours state there is also medical experimentation going on.

  • technology is similar to our world, with few advances, especially in genetics and medicine.

  • after a Transcendent opens a portal to other worlds, people from them start arriving. Unfortunately, no one knows how to fix this.

  • New arrivals will become Beastmen. their secondary form can be of a human or their original form is they are non-human.

  • New-Beastmen can transform into many different species, not just one. this is a difficult feat to master and often done under duress, but can be trained.

  • New-Beastmen will keep their canon powers.

  • New-Beastmen will have to live in Anima city or humans might kill them. Anima city welcomes them but does not fully trust them.

  • New-Beastmen will live in the City Council. They will have access to medical help, as well as schooling, basic needs (food, clothing, etc), training their abilities, and helping them finding jobs, and overall settling in.

meta information to be found out while playing the verse

This verse can be very slice of life in the sense there can be shenanigans of characters adapting to a new life, new powers, new species, etc. They can explore Anima City which is not really that different from a normal human city except residents are furries. There is crime, there is police, there are jobs, there are people. And then you add "you are now a furry" to it. The same old living. This verse can also focus on the politics between the Humans and the Beastmen. And of course, the nasty relationship between the two. Both sides discriminate against each other, but humans - being more in numbers - have the upper hand. Still, Beastmen can easily overtake a human, so they aren't helpless either. There can be tension, there can be the argument that many of the New-Beastmen used to be humans themselves...New-Beastmen are seen as a danger by humans, and they are somewhat unsettling to other Beastmen. But many are curious - there are plenty of people who'd want to study them. There is also the idea that Beastmen could be used as weapons by the military...

basics

Characters from different media were cloned and brought to a world similar to Earth. They are aware they are clones, although no one knows why this is happening - but all of them currently live in a compound together. This compound is populated strictly by clones of characters from many fandoms and canons, with millions of people. All clones were raised by sentient NPCs (humans and non-humans) who act as their foster families thus making the relationship more organic. Alongside these caregivers, there are also robot-like NPCs who fill the city, and although they can be a bit glitchy, these are also sentient.the compound is a city by the sea surrounded by an invisible dome. It has all the amenities a city would have, including schools, hospitals, museums, and everything is replenished automatically. And of course: media! Clones can find their own "past lives" in the form of movies, TV shows, books, etc.Events will focus on what can bring out the character's potential, growth and betterment of their skills.

type

AU, since the clones are their own lives and growth and existence. At the same time, they know of their original selves. It's up to them to decide to become more like their original-self or be very different and make their own choices.

information

"Way way back in the XXXX's
Secret government employees
Dug up famous guys and ladies
And made amusing genetic copies
their clones were raised in a compound
and nobody knows why
Loving, learning, sharing, judging
Time to laugh, and shiver and cry
It's time to watch... Clone Life
Energetic and engaging
Clone Life
Our angst is entertaining
Clone Life"

extra information

  • everyone is a clone of a canon character

  • they were raised in the compound until the age we are taking the character from. this means some characters may have lived in the compound for 14 years, while others have lived there for 40.

  • everyone is aware they are clones. they can find their original-self's canon by consuming the related media.

  • the clone's story at the compound is left up to the players to decide and make up, including their foster families, friends, etc. This is full AU creation

  • there are cameras everywhere around the compound. if broken, these are replaced within a day.

  • the robot npcs can be broken as well, but they will return within a day.

  • characters who were cloned along with their family and friends are often kept in different schools or different areas of the compound. the idea is to allow for each person to grow individually without direct canon-influence.

  • clones have the powers their original self had. for characters whose power changes in canon, clones may have power "updates" as they become closer to their canon-selves personalities.

  • clones may, in fact, become their canon-selves eventually. this means memories may start emerging and clones may start to believe they are the canon character and are meant to become them.

  • there are many clones from many worlds from many timelines and from many iterations. it's impossible for someone to be aware of everyone else and how many people there are at the compound.

  • the compound is a city as big as Tokyo.

meta information to be found out while playing the verse

while the premise is 100% inspired by the TV show "clone high" this is a lot more serious. Clones will have to face an existence inside a limited compound while aware they were cloned by some mysterious organization, without knowing why. They also have to face the realization they may be very similar or very different from their original self.Clones have been created and raised with the intent of having their various strengths and abilities harnessed. Once they have reached their full potential, these will be used to create a perfect utopia. The reason for this is because life on Earth as we know it ended, leaving androids and cyborgs and robots to the the ones to rule it: and they believe the heroes of stories are the ones who should come back into the world. The parent NPCs were not raised since they were babies, unlike the characters. They were cloned and woke up as adults inside the compound where they lived for a while and settled to make the compound liveable, until suddenly babies started arriving. they were given an explanation and instructions on what they had to do. If they refuse to raise the clones, they will mysteriously disappear and will be replaced.there are thousands of clones walking around. it's natural for them not to know everyone else and meet only just a handful.
